THERE'S HOPE FOR HOMELESS WOMEN
Unity House of Columbus
Unity House is a transitional housing refuge for young, homeless women and provides safe, clean, emergency shelter and referrals to supportive services.
Through collaboration with existing community agencies in Columbus, Unity House will help stabilize these women through access to medical care, referrals to mental health and child care services, job training, parenting classes, personal development, educational support, spiritual guidance and assistance in developing the tools to meet the demands of everyday living.
Unity House is a program of Rebuild & Renew Community Development Corporation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization affiliated with Unity Temple Church of God in Christ.
Become Part of the
Changing Lives. Growing Families. Giving Hope.
Homelessness continues to be a significant problem in the United States, affecting nearly 600,000 people; and women and families represent the fastest growing segment of that population.
Over the past two years, the number of adult women experiencing homelessness grew by an average of 15 percent nationwide.
The number keeps growing and we are committed to lowering the percentage and doing our part to change lives, grow families, and give hope -- one woman at a time.
